Tip of the week: Confirm every online order with a short written summary

By LiberLite Team · Oct 22, 2026 · 1 min read

Misunderstandings in online orders cause returns, arguments and lost trust. A short confirmation fixes most of them before the item leaves.

After the customer says yes, send a message summarising:

  • Item name, size, colour and quantity
  • Total price, including delivery
  • Payment method and status
  • Delivery address and contact number
  • Expected delivery date

Ask: "Please confirm if all is correct." Wait for a reply before dispatching.

Example: "Hello Rehema, your order: 1 blue kitenge dress size 14, delivery to Mwanza city centre, total confirmed. Delivery tomorrow afternoon. Please reply YES to confirm."

Save the conversation as your record. When the customer says "I did not order that," you can show the confirmation politely.

LiberLite Record Keeping can create invoices and receipts with a share link, which makes confirmations look professional.

This week: use a written summary for every online order and wait for the customer's YES.
