Tip of the week: Pick your three most important tasks every morning
Business owners are always busy but not always productive. The shop is full of small demands, and the important work, like calling a supplier or planning a promotion, gets pushed aside.
Each morning, or the evening before, write down the three tasks that would make the biggest difference today. Not ten, just three. Put them on a small paper where you can see it.
Do the most important one first, before checking messages or social media. When distractions arrive, ask: "Does this help me finish my three?"
A tailor in Arusha might choose: finish the wedding dress, call the fabric supplier and reply to new orders. If those get done, the day was a success, even if other small things wait.
At the end of the day, tick off what you completed and carry over what remains.
Over weeks, you will notice major progress in areas you used to postpone.
This week: write your three tasks each morning and tick them off in the evening.
